Abbey Pleviak
Abbey has trained in clown with Sue Morrison, Giovanni Fusetti, Clarmy, CIRCA, and the Stumptown Clown Collective. She also enjoys Contemplative Dance Practice and Contemporary Dance. For Bfly, she writes, produces, acts, plays music, and does whatever else is necessary for the show to go on.
Philip is a self-taught musician who composes for theater and film. His film projects explore the art of silent cinema—a musical playground for physical comedy and storytelling. Over the years he has fronted rock bands, acted in stage plays, and has served as musical director for ensemble-created theater productions. For Bfly, he writes, acts, composes, directs, edits, and more.
Ella has done "everything in Theater except dance and carpentry, but there's still time to learn." She has held managerial roles with the Boulder Int'l Fringe Festival in Boulder, CO, Curious Comedy Theater in Portland, OR, and at Times Scare and The Elektra Theatre in NYC. She has served as light/sound tech for countless Burlesque shows and at the 2015 New York New Works Festival. She has also been Customer Success Manager of AMC Networks. She has a passion for innovative storytelling, independent theater and film, and volunteering with the Best Friends Animal Society. For Bfly, she is a wordsmith, social media maven, actress, and johnny-on-the-spot.
Chico Patrick Pleviak
Chico was born in Granada, Spain in 2004. When he and Abbey encountered each other on Sacromonte, their lifelong partnership of travel and adventure began.
While no aficionado of obedience training, his natural expressive capabilities charm the silver screen. For Bfly, Chico acts, provides moral support, and supervises meals and breaktimes.
